The BEready study, led by the Multidisciplinary Center for Infectious Diseases (MCID), enrolled a random sample of households in the canton of Bern to generate longitudinal data on circulating infectious diseases and support early detection of emerging infectious risks.

The Department of Clinical Research (DCR) study nursing team successfully coordinated large-scale field operations, enrolling 1,569 households, 2'157 participants, and 217 animals. This represents a major operational achievement in community-based data collection.

The DCR Data Management and Statistics Teams are now continuing the critical work of data cleaning, validation, and preparation for downstream analyses.
